Behind Flying Blind - Film Producer, Director, Cast & Crew

Bristol’s harbourside, the Downs, Clifton and the Fleet Air Arm Museum in Yeovilton are among the locations set to feature in a passionate post-9/11 love story called Flying Blind.

The film is the third feature to move into production following the launch, in 2009, of South West Screen’s iFeatures scheme. Backed by BBC Films, Matador Pictures and Bristol City Council, the aim is to provide a pathway to features for the city’s most outstanding creative talent as well as attracting some of the best emerging filmmakers from across the UK and Europe to the city of Bristol.

Flying Blind is headed up by Polish director Kasia Klimkiewicz, and produced by Alison Sterling of Ignition Films.

An exciting cast of multi-national talent includes Helen McCrory (Harry Potter and the forthcoming James Bond film Skyfall), Kenneth Cranham (Hot Fuzz, Valkyrie), Najib Oudghiri (Rendition) and Tristan Gemmill (Casualty).
