The wedding of Justin Darnes, son of Patrick and Deborah Darnes, of Sandbach, and Agnieszka Gluszek, daughter of Mr and Mrs Andrzej Gluszek of Glucholazy, Poland took place on December 10th at Sandbach Methodist Church. The reception was held at Warmingham Village Hall. The couple, who will be setting up home in Vancouver, Canada, both work in the restaurant/hospitality sector. Kim Price, daughter of Carlos and Annette Price married Dr. Stephen Evans, son of Dudley and Catherine Evans. The couple tied the knot on a heritage railway - the Robertson Suite at Llangollen station. The bride walked into the ceremony to the sound of a Rachmaninov piano concerto, familiar to many as the music of the film Brief Encounter. The happy couple and guests boarded the ‘Wedding Belle’ for a trip down the Dee valley to Carrog. Speeches were delivered on the platform at Carrog
Melanie Whatmough and Sean Michael Barnett were married at Nunsmere Hall hotel. The bride is the daughter of Frank and Norah Pearson from Golborne, Warrington, and the groom is the son of Alan and Gill Barnett from Marston, Northwich. The couple honeymooned in Orlando and the Gulf Coast in Florida
Lexy, daughter of Terry and Vanessa Clarke married Jimmy Denton, son of Pauline Taylor and stepson of Ron Taylor at St. Wilfrid’s Church, Mobberley. A reception was held in the groom’s parents back garden in Mottram St Andrew. The happy couple will live in Alderley Edge.
The wedding of Kerry-Anne Tarbatt and Julian Coleman took place at St Mary’s Church, Rostherne, officiated by the Rev Philip Robinson. The bride was given away by her Popa Mr William Favas. A reception followed at Capesthorne Hall. The bride is the daughter of Mrs Lynne Abbotts and step-daughter of Mr Gordon Abbotts. The groom is the son of Mrs Kay Coleman and stepson of Mr Rodney Graves. The couple honeymooned in Tuscany staying at an 11th century monastry, Castel Monastero.
