Nicola Linney, daughter of Wendy and Paul Linney and Tim Buckingham, son of Clare and David Buckingham were married at St Patrick’s Parish Church in Kendal. Their reception was held at Barbon Village Hall, which had been decorated beautifully by family and friends prior to the ceremony and flowers were by Sarah Purchase, a friend of the bride since their Bolton School days together.

Kathryn Smith, daughter of Mr and Mrs WJ Smith from Blackpool married Ian Best, son of Mrs J Best and the late Mr W Best at the Gibbon Bridge Hotel in Chipping. Rachael Anne Burke from Bolton met Daniel Jimenez Ibanez in Tafalla during a university placement year in Spain. After returning to England and completing her degree Rachael moved to Spain to be with Dani but when the couple decided to get married the couple opted for a ceremony at the Langdale Chase Hotel in Windermere where Dani’s family and friends were able to see Rachael’s home country. Kate Whisker married Andrew Taylor at a beautiful ceremony at The Gibbon Bridge Hotel in Chipping. The weather was perfect for the November wedding, allowing guests to join the happy couple in an outdoor champagne toast and photographs. The ceremony itself took place in the Orangery and was followed by a sumptuous feast attended by family and friends. The couple, whose married name will be Whisker-Taylor, returned to their marital home in Inskip after a honeymoon in the Lake District.
