North East photographic gallery - January 2012 - Trees

Last month we asked you to submit your best pictures of trees and you didn’t disappoint us. You uploaded a forest-full of wonderful photos to our website showing rich autumnal shades and bare winter branches all over the region.

The examples shown on these pages are just some of the brilliant tree shots which were uploaded to our website last month.

Each month we will give you a theme to be thinking of when you pick up your camera. And we’ll select some of the best or most creative images to appear in the following issue.
And do keep uploading your lovely landscapes from County Durham, Tyne and Wear, Northumberland and Cleveland as well - we love to receive them.
