Serving an Ace for charity with a 24-hour tennis match

Silver Worldwide, the Digital and Brand Marketing agency based in Cheltenham and London, aims to raise £3,500 for two children’s charities.

The 24-hour Silver Slam will take place at Cleeve School in Bishop’s Cleeve, near Cheltenham, on January 21.

“All our team are taking part and we would love others to drop in and take to the court with us - for a small donation of course," says Merrick Cardew, Account Director from Silver Worldwide. “We are extremely thankful to Cleeve School who are providing the sports hall free of charge so that all proceeds can go to Stepping Stones Nigeria and The Sam Pilcher Trust, which is great help.”

Stepping Stones Nigeria is a UK based, grassroots charity dedicated to supporting the rights of vulnerable and exploited children such as the so-called child 'witches' and 'wizards' of the Niger Delta. Their work with Nigerian partner organisations saves and transforms the lives of these stigmatised children. 

The Sam Pilcher Trust helps children, particularly adolescent children, who are suffering from cancer including leukaemia and their families. It also raises money to improve facilities at the Bristol Royal Children’s Hospital and the children’s oncology unit at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in Gloucester.
