Surrey schoolgirl impresses Lord Sugar to win BBC’s Junior Apprentice 2011

Watched by more than four million viewers, 16-year-old Surrey student Zara Brownless was crowned the winner of the BBC's Junior Apprentice 2011.

Scooping Lord Sugar’s top prize of £25,000, the A-level student is set to continue her education at Hurtwood House in Holmbury St Mary and then university, before developing her already-existing film production company, which focuses mainly on charities.

"Zara is an unbelievably resourceful and talented student and if she took over the running of the school tomorrow I am sure that she has the sureness of touch and the charm to do a much better job than I do,” says headmaster at Hurtwood House, Cosmo Jackson. “We are very, very proud of her."

Zara beat 30,000 other young students from all over the UK.

  very impressive young lady - I hope my children grow and blossom to be like her.A great advert for the youngsters of today - great to see something positive.
