TVAP Sponsored Walk

Thames Valley Adventure Playground for children and adults with special needs is located in Taplow, just outside Maidenhead. The charity organised a sponsored walk on Saturday to raise funds, and I assisted at this walk by marshalling.

Easter Family Event in Maidenhead

On the Saturday of Easter weekend, I helped out at a family event in Maidenhead, organised by a new Rotary club that is being set up in the town. The event was enjoyed by lots of local families, and the weather was kind to us!

Pancake races in Maidenhead

Maidenhead had its own pancake race yesterday, along with many other towns around Britain. I went along to help out, and ended up presenting the prizes!

The Long Walk - Windsor

The Long Walk in Windsor is a great place to go for a short walk, or a more extended wander into Windsor Great Park. I was fortunate enough to see deer in the Deer Park last time I visited.

Windsor welcomes the annual reindeer parade

It's not every day that you see reindeer on the streets of Windsor. Once a year they visit for the Reindeer Parade, which I went to see last Saturday.
