Early Winters Chill for UK Housing Market!?

The picture emerging over the last few days suggests the UK housing market is reflecting the performance of the later part of our summer…..poor!, indeed if the numbers coming out of the HMRC show that completions are running at around half the levels of 2007 and the Council for Mortgage Lenders (CML) report that mortgage lending fell to its lowest in August for ten years in terms of value.

new report states eight in ten people do not understand house buying

A new report from comparison website Confused.com has shown that most people do not understand the processes involved in buying and selling a house. Nor do they understand mortgages and other financial products. The survey found that almost 80% of people find mortgages confusing, and 74% are baffled by pensions. House prices and buying a property are also areas of confusion, with 80% not understanding what is involved.
