Find your competitive edge and take to the track of Essex's state of the art indoor go-karting circuit. Timed sessions offer the chance to find out who's really the fastest in the family, and those aged between 8 and 13 can also see what it's like to go behind the wheel in the special kid's karts, so this is the ideal activity for adrenaline seekers young and old.

If you've got some energy to burn off, head to Better Extreme at Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre. Test your limits on the climbing wall or put yourself through your paces on the 'Ninja Run' and theres also a two story play area which is perfect for keeping those under 6 busy.

Fantastic facilities on offer at Becontree Health Leisure Centre including a 25 by 25 metre and a 50 metre swimming pool, as well as a smaller shallow pool for younger visitors. 'Swim for everyone' sessions take place in the main pool to which all ages are welcome, and there is also a well-equipped soft play area and café.
Swim for Everyone sessions are £4.20 for adults, and £2.90 for juniors, concessions and seniors. Under 3s swim free. Open daily but times vary.

This jungle-themed indoor play centre is ideal for budding explorers, with three separate play areas on offer for babies, toddlers and older children under 12.
