One of the region’s chicest hotels was the setting for a drinks reception hosted by Cheshire Life editor Louise Taylor and the editor of Lancashire Life, Roger Borrell.

The occasion at Abode in Piccadilly, Manchester, was a ‘thank you’ to judges and sponsors of Cheshire Life and Lancashire Life Food and Drink Awards.

Roger Borrell, group editor of Archant Life North, thanked the sponsors for their support and the judges for their expertise and endeavours in finding the best hoteliers, restaurateurs and food producers. He said: ‘The awards are an important occasion for the region’s hospitality industry and we at Lancashire Life and Cheshire Life play a small part in highlighting the venues and food producers. Our food and drink features are very popular with readers. We are delighted that our annual awards allow us to pay tribute to this industry.’

This year’s winners will be revealed at a black tie dinner at Manchester’s Midland Hotel on October 29th.
