MPW Steakhouse Bar & Grill, city centreAs the first British chef and the youngest in the world to be awarded three Michelin stars, Marco Pierre White is a name synonymous with quality and a great dining experience. At his Liverpool venue, focal point of the boutique Hotel Indigo, guests are assured of affordable glamour, comfortable surroundings, lively atmosphere, and a large range of grilled and roast meats, fish and classic English puddings.

Salt House, city centreOwner Paddy Smith and head chef Martin ‘Butch’ Renshaw and their team have created a superb modern, urban tapas bar in the former Bishop of Liverpool’s residence in Liverpool One. The aim to recreate the authentic style and epicurean delights of a local neighbourhood tapas bar in Spain has been well and truly realised. There’s no Spanish spoken here - but the food does the talking and how! Ol.

The Monro, city centreLiverpool’s first gastropub, named after the James Monro, which plied the first scheduled sailing service from Liverpool to New York in 1817 is sited in a wonderfully historic listed building. In winter customers enjoy the warmth of a real open fire while in summer the courtyard offers peace and tranquillity to relish a wide selection of cask ales, great wines, and expertly prepared dishes using excellent local ingredients.
