Winner: Cornish Food Box Co, Truro
Tor and Lucy started the Cornish Food Box Company in 2010 with the aim of making it as easy as possible for people to buy Cornish Food and Drink. From humble beginnings in a small shop on the outskirts of Truro, the company has grown year by year and now stocks hundreds of Cornish products. They are flying the flag for Cornish produce nationwide with their food boxes, including a Christmas dinner box and a Cornish cream tea box, all available for delivery across the country.

This farm shop in Padstow offers old fashioned service with a smile’, sourcing as much of their produce as they can from local producers and keeping their carbon footprint as low as possible. Readers commended their genuine commitment to the local community and the attentive, friendly staff.
Highly commended: The Little Bakehouse, Launceston
This artisan Bakehouse in Launceston has been nominated for it’s superb, handmade sourdough breads as well as it’s great selection of savoury breads. Their head baker, Suzanne, is now a triple award winner after her success at the recent World Bread Awards and her passion for baking is evident in the quality of their fare.
