When celebrating with family and friends, the last thing you want is to feel that you're disturbing other tables or that the presence of other groups is disturbing your celebratory meal. But you can get all the perks of restaurant dining but you get to select the guests and tailor the experience to your needs: decorate for a wedding party or set up for a business meeting.

The private dining room at Stoke Mill seats between 12 and 22 guests, so if you're planning a wedding celebration, anniversary, birthday or just a big gathering of friends and family, this is the perfect place to come together. Ludo Iaccarino, who owns Stoke Mill along with chef patron Andy Rudd, explains, "A mid-week experience may consist of a ladies' light lunch gathering, from two courses all the way through to full regalia of a seven-course tasting menu."

The customisable nature of private dining allows for a range of cost options. Set menus with a variety of dishes often come priced per head allowing for full cost transparency.

With three menus to choose from when booking a private dining experience at Stoke Mill, there is a choice for every budget. This includes the Private Party Dining menu and the augmented Prestige Private Dining menu which offers the restaurant's most popular signature dishes such as hand-dived scallops with Dingley Dell pork belly and apple and ginger purée. Mains may include fillet of beef with fondant potatoes and a rich wine jus, all finished with a decadent hot chocolate fondant, and if there's room, a cheese course then coffee with petites fours. Check the website for the full menu.

The highly affordable mid-week dining menu can also be enjoyed in a private capacity, whether you want to upgrade your business meeting or just gathering your friends together in the week. Ludo says "For a more casual, informal gathering, we offer a midweek private dining menu at a very reasonable rate."
