eatlocale - local food and drink producer, Hampshire & Surrey
eatlocale offer fresh, locally grown products for delivery and collection in Hampshire & Surrey .
eatlocale may not be as close as your nearest supermarket, but with their innovative deliveries and locally sourced products they're going the extra mile to give you quality.
What local produce do you stock?
Our whole range of local food and drink is produced within Hampshire, Surrey & Berkshire. This includes sauces, condiments, oils, dressings, preserves, honeys, soups, teas, juices, cakes, chocolate, garlic and oven-roasted tomatoes. Our business is about persuading local people to supply us!
What's the basic premise behind eatlocale?
We think that local veg and meat boxes are great, but only what’s in your store cupboard can turn them into a meal. The eatlocale larder refill service we offer is a monthly box, full of high quality, tummy tingling, practical food that makes a meal out of all that home-grown meat and veg.

Each larder refill will comprise three elements: 'enhance' which is comprised of items such as lemongrass rapeseed oil, shallot & coriander chilli glaze, and toasted garlic mayo.
The next is 'cook' which could be gourmet leek soup, oven roasted tomatoes infused in herb oil, elephant garlic for roasting or brandy and three peppercorn finishing sauce.
Finally, we have 'indulge' - aromatic peppermint tea, iced gingerbread loaf, dipped candied chocolate orange and heather honey.
Alternatively, for those who know exactly what they want, we sell our products individually online at www.eatlocale.co.uk.
Why should I come to you and not my local supermarket?
Well, for starters, all of our produce is sourced locally from Surrey, Hampshire & Berkshire.
Furthermore, we provide tips how to use our products; less obvious things like swirling lemon curd into Greek yoghurt for a delicious dinner party dessert, or ginger & lemongrass rapeseed oil to baste prawns before a barbecue.
Also, we provide more detailed recipes and ‘Meet the Producer’ cards with details on the talent behind the products, with details how to find them online or in person.
Where are you able to offer delivery?
Our principal delivery radius is 20 miles from Farnham in Surrey, which covers Guildford, Godalming, Farnham, Odiham, Hartley Wintney & Alton; but we will travel further on request. Delivery is free within the 20 miles for orders over 40; a 6 charge applies for orders under 40.
In addition, we stock an even wider range of eatlocale food and drink, including some fantastic local cheeses, at Shackleford Village Shop, near Godalming.
Is there anything else you'd like us to know about your business?
We have strong principles, which we wrote down before we launched the business. These detail our commitment to treat and pay our producers fairly and in a timely way.
Our goal is not to take market share from local producers, but rather to expand the market, by providing an alternative route to market between Farmers Markets and Supermarkets.
Although committed to supporting local producers, our passion is our customers; we are absolutely passionate about taste and quality. We taste everything we buy and avoid wholesalers, preferring instead to deal with producers direct.
