Venue

Bringing a slice of the chic Hamptons to the North West, The Club House oozes cool. The latest Living Ventures venue, built in the style of a New England luxury beach house, has vintage coastal vibes – perfect for the Liverpool location. Live music complimented the buzzing atmosphere.

Menu

There is a wide variety of choice on the menu, ranging from small plates and deli boards through to main meals cooked on the outside rotisserie. We kicked things off with a starter of Smoked Haddock and Sweetcorn Chowder with crackers (£6.50) and Cumberland and Pork Chipolatas with honey grain mustard (£3.50). The delicious chowder could easily be ordered as a main course, with its hearty chunks of haddock and vegetables. For mains, the two of us both chose the 9oz Ribeye with garlic butter, served with seasoned chips (£14.50), followed by a dessert of Sticky Toffee Pudding with vanilla ice cream (£4.95). It is my favourite pudding of all time, and this one didn’t disappoint. The drinks menu at The Club House is to be marvelled at. With six cocktails on tap (£6.00) as well as a range of beers from around the globe (including a few local breweries) – it’s an excellent venue to visit for a few drinks.

Cost

The above with three draught cocktails and two beers came to £82.90 between the two.
