Our search for Derbyshire’s tastiest food product was a difficult task. Whether made by a Derbyshire or Peak District farmer, producer, retailer or manufacturer, all of the shortlisted businesses had unique products, with a distinct Derbyshire flavour.

Winner: Air-dried Aromatic Duck Salami from Jaquest Food Specialists, Bolsover
The judges agreed unanimously that they didn’t think there was anything to compare to this ‘innovative, flavoursome and complex’ product, made using British duck and Eastern spices.
