The popular restaurant chain is set to introduce its signature Thai cuisine to Montpellier Street in Cheltenham this summer

Having established a loyal following throughout the country since 2002 with its fantastic combination of bold Thai flavours and authentic cooking techniques, Giggling Squid will open for lunch and dinner in Cheltenham in July. With room for 108 guests, diners can expect a relaxed yet stylish and spacious restaurant set over two floors with additional seating outside.

From lunchtime tapas to delicious curries, salads, rice and noodles, Giggling Squid’s menu lends itself to the distinct sharing culture of Thailand. Cheltenham guests are invited to experience its rich tapestry of freshly prepared dishes prepared on-site by a team of talented Thai chefs.

Owned by Thai-born Pranee Laurillard and her husband Andrew, Giggling Squid - the nickname of one of their three children - was founded in the basement of a tiny fisherman’s cottage, now the Brighton restaurant, where dreams of replicating a little taste of home became a reality.

Pranee Laurillard comments: “We are really excited about bringing Giggling Squid to Cheltenham and making our mark in the fantastic Montpellier district. It’s such a lovely town with so much going on and we are really looking forward to being a part of the community.”
