Produce from Kent was the star of the show on Market Kitchen when Produced in Kent’s manager Julie Monkman and passionate Kentish food expert Mo Joslin were invited onto the TV show to film a series of five programmes that will be aired on Sky 249 and Virgin 260 from 31 January to 4 February.Presented by a number of fervent foodies and well-known chefs, Julie and Mo joined presenter Penny Smith and celebrity chef Matt Tebbutt to taste some delicious dishes cooked with ingredients from the Kent producers featured in the filming. The five programmes see Julie and Mo talking about some of the amazing work being done by producers and brewers in the Garden of England. Produced in Kent members included in the programmes will be Chapel Down Wines, Godmersham Game, Head in the Clouds meringues and Winterdale Cheese, with special features on Whitstable’s native oysters and Shepherd Neame, Britain’s oldest independent brewery.
