The restaurant will have 60 covers and is on Victoria Parade by the harbourside in Torquay. The menu will include all the usual Rockfish favourites and success stories along with local mussels from Torbay and plenty of fish from Britain’s most diverse fishing market Brixham. The restaurant is built on strong sustainability credentials, high ratings fromsustainable restaurant guides Fish2Fork and awards from the National Seafish awards including Best Independent restaurant and shortlisting in the top 3 fish & chip restaurants in the UK since opening.

Owner and restaurateur, Mitch Tonks, comments: “You can’t get better than eating seafood by the sea and I think the experience is worth the drive alone! The South Coast of England has some of the world’s best fish and being on the coast means you can eat it the day it has been landed. Torbay is such a wonderful coastline and we are looking forwardto Rockfish being part of the community and a new destination for seafood lovers.”

Mitch lives with his wife and youngest daughter in Brixham. Mitch and Mat also have the Seahorse restaurant in Dartmouth, voted the UK’s best restaurant by Observer Food Monthly & the UKs best seafood restaurant by the Good Food Guide.
