Not quite as many medals as Usain Bolt… A Hampshire company has just scooped three medals at the Great Taste Awards 2013, including the prestigious triple gold star award. NISI’S is an award winning artisan bakery producing a scrumptious range of premium Italian biscuits deep in the heart of the New Forest in Hampshire. It has been a great year for this little bakery, which was chosen to supply all of the Athletes competing at London 2012. 43,000 chocolate chunk biscotti were supplied into the athletes’ villages, and these were available throughout the day for the Olympic and Paralympic athletes. Not only has NISI’S been busy baking for Bolt et al, but the team is suitably chuffed to have won three medals at the Great Taste Awards including a much coveted triple gold for their Ginger macaroon. Other awards were a double gold for the Limonetti and a single gold for the Roasted Hazelnut biscotti. Denise Stevenson said that “whilst it doesn’t quite match Michael Phelps’ record, we are suitably proud!”NISI’S ranges include retail ready boxes of individually wrapped biscotti and amaretti (naturally gluten free), as well as retail bags. NISI’S products are all made by hand, using the finest ingredients, British wherever possible (73% cocoa solids chocolate, free-range eggs, British sugar and flour). Get dunking! www.nisis.co.uk
