When Gemma, Alistair and their miniature schnauzer Poppy first came to Painswick in early 2018, they fell in love with the town immediately. They knew that the coffee

shop was perfect for their dream of living and working in the Cotswolds and set about making it dog-friendly (so Poppy would have friends as well!) and sourcing local suppliers such as Rave Coffee in Cirencester and The Lavender Bakehouse in Chalford.

Formerly known as "The Patchwork Mouse" and now hosting regular exhibitions of local artists and offering excellent free WiFi, The Painswick Pooch Coffee House has become the hub of the town, welcoming many regular local customers alongside those walking the Cotswold Way National Trail, plus international visitors exploring the delights of this beautiful small town.
