The renowned and highly respected financial commentator and TV expert, Justin Urquhart-Stewart, is visiting the South West to share his vast financial knowledge in two free seminars hosted by leading South West accountancy firm Albert Goodman. Taking place in Bristol and Taunton on 25 November, they offer a unique opportunity to get top quality City advice on your doorstep.

Urquhart-Stewart makes regular appearances on the BBC, was judged the nation’s favourite financial personality and is one of the most recognisable and reliable financial commentators today. He has 20 years experience following the ups and downs of the markets and his assessments, predictions and witty observations are trusted by professional and amateur investors alike.

The seminars, organised by Albert Goodman, are entitled “An age of austerity but also an age of opportunity”. Urquhart-Stewart will discuss the current state of the economy, how to make the right investment choices and planning for the financial security of the whole family. The seminars are free to attend and are a real ‘must’ for anyone considering new investments or those concerned about the performance of their current investments.

Having trained as a barrister, Urquhart-Stewart took up corporate finance, working in both Africa and Singapore. He then went into marketing, focusing on corporate cash management facilities. This led him to help found Broker Services in 1986, which went on to become Barclays Stockbrokers, where he was Marketing Director. In early 2001, he co-founded Seven Investment Management (7IM).

He has a keen interest in developing the investment market to break down as many of the traditional barriers as possible for both private investors and smaller companies. He writes regularly for national magazines and newspapers, and is a frequent commentator on television and radio, both in the UK and abroad.
