Feel good festival

Soulfest, a one day festival at Rownhams House on June 12 from 10am to 7.30pm, will be a truly magical and uplifting day celebrating the life changing wonders of Yoga & the Healing Arts. Bringing together talented healers, teachers, and speakers in the South to offer over 30 workshops including: Paddle Board yoga on the lake, drumming workshops, meditation, silent outdoor disco and more! Ticket to ride

Sky Ride, Southampton’s celebratory cycling event is back on June 12 at 11am - 3pm. This fun, free, family event has a real festival atmosphere with plenty of activities both on and off your bike. The traffic-free five mile circular route takes in the sights of the city with opportunities to take part in events along the way. V-Dub Day

VW owners unite on a drive to Beaulieu on June 26 from 10am-6pm for what promises to be a superb day out for both owners and enthusiasts. From modern marvels such as the Golf GTI and Scirocco to classics such as the Campervan or the Original Beetle, all models are welcome at the 2nd Simply VW, which is set to provide a great opportunity to admire some cult vehicles and connect with fellow enthusiasts. Zombie Apocolypse

A secret ‘re-animate’ training camp within Bursledon’s abandoned brickworks has recently been reopened for new recruits. This special open day tour will allow you to see the work of the organisation URF, hear the latest scientific research into the re-animate threat and undergo training on re-animate subjects. This indoor and outdoor event is weather dependent so bring suitable warm clothing and shoes. Some stairs are used in the interior spaces. You should be prepared to move quickly through long corridors and down stairs just in case, God forbid, containment should be lost... as if! Free swim
