Parking
On street parking is limited and the wardens are often on the prowl but there are pay and displays at Pleasant Street, on the Prom, in Lowther Gardens and by the railway station.
Eating
Where to start? The Queens on East Beach was a Lancashire Life finalist with quality pub food, Gusto is the new kid in town and is getting rave reviews. Nearby is Bosco, Spago, Portofino’s and Henry’s.
Time for tea
Heaven for fans of a brew and a bite. Try Berti’s, Vinyl Groove, The Mews, Lytham Kitchen and many, many more.
Something stronger
One of the great pubs, The Taps, is in Henry Street, serving brilliant beers. For fans of wine bars, there is Capri, Zest, Mohito’s and newly opened Barrique in the Market Square.
Retail therapy
A host of excellent independents, including the Stringers department and homeware stores, a good cookshop, an outstanding wet fish shop and a tiny shop devoted almost entirely to Lancashire Cheese. Don’t miss Lytham Pie Shop for a souvenir of your visit!
