Tracy Satchwill exhibits her art at the Princess Theatre, Torquay from Monday 13th to Sunday 19th September coinciding with the Agatha Christie Festival.

Tracy Satchwill will be exhibiting her work Agatha Christie, a life of Ladders and Snakes at the Breeze cafe Bar, Princess Theatre, Torquay. The exhibition consists of a series of 9 digital collages that document the life of Agatha Christie. The illustrations revolve around stairs incorporating the ups and downs of her life. Tracy's work develops from a passion of capturing a moment in time. Her illustrations combine mainly photography with drawing, print and found objects, producing responses to locations and narratives that have an historical significance. She brings these historical scenes back to life by photographing models, props and backgrounds and digitally placing them in a contemporary context.

Tracy has just completed her BA (Hons) at Plymouth University (as a mature student at 42 years old) and she is currently exhibiting a series of 6 theatre sets of the life of Marie Antoinette at Somerset House until July 2011.

Tracy's exhibition for Agatha Christie is from Monday 13th to Sunday 19th September which coincides with the Agatha Christie Festival. She is also participating in the Devon Open Studios from 4 to 18 September at Sampford House, Brixham.
