In a real party mood, more than 100 guests celebrated the opening of new deli-restaurant Amelie and Friends in Chichester’s North Street.Owners Rowland and Mary Leach, who recently sold their Michelin rated restaurant with rooms, West Stoke House in East Lavant, hosted friends and colleagues at the launch party.Enjoying the warm evening sun in the restaurant’s contemporary-styled garden, the guests drank La Java Prosecco Spumante and were served a selection of delicious canap�s including smoked salmon rugelach, watercress roulade with pancetta crisps; mini roast beef on Yorkshire; tiny Roquefort and leek tarts; micro chocolate macaroons and lemon meringue cones.Amelie and Friends is open from 8am-7pm www.amelieandfriends.com 31 North Street, Chichester, Tel: 01243 771444
