Girl band Atomic Kitten went back to their North West roots to help raise a stunning £20,000 for charity.

It was the first time in 13 years that the group had been together on stage in their Liverpool hometown. More than 200 guests were there to see them perform some of their greatest hits. Among the crowd were footballers’ wives and girlfriends such as Alex Gerrard, Nicola Carragher, Shauna Muamba, Chantelle Tagoe and Jude Cisse.

The money will be used to fund an expedition with the ‘Dental Mavericks’ group to the Rif Mountains in North Africa to treat over 500 children with chronic dental problems. The glitzy charity event was organised by the Liverpool Dental Spa.
