St. George’s Church of England Foundation School in Broadstairs was delighted to have its new school officially opened and blessed by the Bishop of Dover, Trevor Willmott. Principal Kim Stoner said: “Eleanor Roosevelt once stated ‘the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.’ At St. George’s we are fortunate; part of our dream has become a reality, and we have a fabulous new building which has been designed to raise aspirations and inspire future generations of young people. There are many people to thank for their hard work, commitment and dedication to this ‘Building Schools for the Future’ project, including Kent County Council, Kier, governors and staff who shared the vision and joined us on our journey to ensure success.”
