GUESTS at a black tie Michaelmas Ball raised more than �4,500 for Mr Sharma’s prostate cancer charity in Oldham. After a five course dinner at The Saddleworth Hotel, guests enjoyed entertainment from a Michael Buble tribute, raffle and auction which included a Paul Scholes signed football shirt, Andrew Strauss cricket bat and four executive tickets to Old Trafford for a European game. The ball is one of four events organised for charity each year by the Saddleworth Ladies’ Fundraising Committee.Photography by Glynn Ward
