Blue Islands, the Channel Islands airline, announced a significant plan to restore key lost routes at Southampton Airport recently, in response to FlyBe entering in to administration earlier this year

With new colours and branding and new routes to Manchester and Dublin, Blue Islands’ significant expansion will be welcome news to passengers who relied on the services from FlyBe; and is a great story for Southampton Airport.

“Our aim is to make flying a pleasure again.

“It’s the little things that matter and make the welcome difference,” said Executive Director Paul Simmons.

Simmons was talking about the airline’s renewed Enhanced Wellbeing Onboard programme to ensure that all passengers are safe and comfortable following the restrictions Covid-19 has put on travel.
