51 members of the Society celebrated Christmas with a festive lunch at the Berry
Head Hotel, Brixham and a very sociable event it was.
51 members of the Society celebrated Christmas with a festive lunch at the Berry Head Hotel, Brixham and a very sociable event it was. 20 members competed for the Bill Mason Challenge Cup by submitting a painting on the subject “Christmas Morning”. Those in attendance each had a vote. The winner was Margaret Dyer, with runner up Jill Durn, pictured with Society President Marion Turner and Chairman Peter Lawrence.
The Society meets on the third Thursday of the month at Eden Park Primary School, Brixham and would very much like to enrol some new members. The meetings are from 7.30 to 9.30 pm, when there are demonstrations by visiting professional artists, a raffle and a sociable tea break.
