On 17 September, Rigoletto will be broadcast live under “BP Big Screens 2014” program to the stunning grounds of Talaton House – one of only 14 locations nationwide.
Rigoletto, Verdi’s tragic opera in three acts, is an embittered court jester who’ll poke fun at anyone his lecherous young master abuses – until he finds that he and his treasured daughter have become the Duke’s latest victims.
Dramatically and musically thrilling, Verdi’s full-blooded score is packed with one great tune after another.
Bring a blanket and a bottle of wine and watch the tale of seduction, trickery and bloody revenge unfold in David McVicar’s great production.
Gates open at 5pm with pre-performance events before Rigoletto is streamed live at 7.30pm. Admission is free but places are limited so register by submitting your name, email address and phone number to info@talatonhouseopera.co.uk or apply directly to The Talaton Village Shop, Talaton, EX5 2RQ.
