On 17 September, Rigoletto will be broadcast live under “BP Big Screens 2014” program to the stunning grounds of Talaton House – one of only 14 locations nationwide.

Rigoletto, Verdi’s tragic opera in three acts, is an embittered court jester who’ll poke fun at anyone his lecherous young master abuses – until he finds that he and his treasured daughter have become the Duke’s latest victims.

Dramatically and musically thrilling, Verdi’s full-blooded score is packed with one great tune after another.

Bring a blanket and a bottle of wine and watch the tale of seduction, trickery and bloody revenge unfold in David McVicar’s great production.

Gates open at 5pm with pre-performance events before Rigoletto is streamed live at 7.30pm. Admission is free but places are limited so register by submitting your name, email address and phone number to or apply directly to The Talaton Village Shop, Talaton, EX5 2RQ.
