For an egg-citing day out this Easter, look no further than the National Trust. Spring has sprung, so it’s the perfect time to get the family together and enjoy some Easter fun.

From egg-raft racing to Easter bunnies and all things chicken, there’s something for everyone. But the excitement doesn’t stop there… Why not follow one of our Easter trails or take part in an egg hunt? Thanks to Cadbury’s generous support, there’ll be plenty of tasty chocolate treats waiting to be won.

The Great Lode Egg-raft Race - Saturday 23 to Sunday 24 April, 11am – 4pm

On your marks, egg-set, go…come along to create your own mini raft, decorate an egg then try your hand at sailing it down the Lode. Egg-stra special prize for all brave designers! Bourne Mill, Essex

St George, Heroes and Villains - Easter Monday 25 April, 10am – 5pm

Bourne Mill Mummers present a traditional mummers play, with song, dance and narrative. Performances throughout the day. Normal admission applies, donations welcomed.

Brancaster Millennium Activity Centre, Norfolk

Sailing or Kayaking Taster Days - Monday 11 to Thursday 14 April

Taster days for all ages, why not try sailing in a Drascombe longboat with our experienced RYA instructors. Alternatively, explore the creeks of Brancaster Staithe on a gentle paddle with our BCU certified kayaking instructor and try your hand at kayaking. �5.25 per child (8-16), �8 per adult (16+).
