Guests at the Firecracker Ball held at Rudding Park, Harrogate, including comic actress Helen Lederer and veteran singer Billy Ocean raised more than �140,000 for Barnardo’s in Yorkshire and Virgin Unite, a charity that tackles medical problems in Africa.
Since 2002 the Firecracker Ball has raised almost �1million for Barnardo’s in Yorkshire which has helped to change the lives of thousands of children and young people across the county.
