The Mayor and Mayoress of Eastbourne Greg and Clare Szanto, attended the launch of the fifth annual Open Art & Sculpture fundraising exhibition at the Chaseley Trust in Eastbourne and were joined by more than 200 Sussex artists, resident patients and their families, staff, sponsors and patrons.
Over �500 was raised from the sale of the artists' work for the Chaseley Trust, a charity which has provided specialist residential, respite and day care for people with severe physical disabilities since 1946.
The money will be used to update Chaseley's specialised equipment and make improvements to the home to ensure the best possible quality of life for its service users.
