Five local Rotary clubs are working hard to create what promises to be this summer’s hot ticket – the Hannahs at Seale-Hayne Summer Party, which will raise funds for the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust on Saturday 16th July 2011.

Rotarians have come together from Ashburton/Buckfastleigh, Dartmoor Vale, Dawlish Water, Newton Abbot and Teignmouth Estuary to lay on a top night out for 500 people for the exclusive benefit of Hannahs.

Glad-ragged, fund-raising party-goers will be met with a welcome drink on arrival in the magnificent quadrangle and will enjoy a Hog Roast and buffet later in the evening. Entertainment will be provided by Soul Funktion and other local bands as well as roaming performance artists including stilt-walking fire-jugglers.

"We’re really looking forward to hosting and enjoying what will be a wonderful night out with great people, good music and delicious food in the wonderful surroundings of the much-loved Seale-Hayne site," said Chief Executive Bronwen Hewitt, who recently made the news with her Trust’s adventurous plans for the former agricultural college. "We’re really very grateful to the local Rotarians who are coming together to make this event happen. They have been so supportive from the moment we moved in here and have already raised money to buy sensory music equipment."

“The event is not only an exciting way for local people to come together and have a fun time supporting a much-needed local charity, it’s also an opportunity for local businesses to promote themselves as sponsors,” added Rotarian John Calderwood. “For anyone who hasn’t been to Seale-Hayne recently, it’ll be a chance to see latest developments and enjoy a night to remember.”

Numbers are limited and tickets are expected to sell fast so those hoping to come along for a fun-filled evening should book now! Tickets cost 25 each and are available from the Seale-Hayne box office on 01626 325800 or email enquiries@damehannah.com.
