More than 100 guests attended a black tie dinner at the Fence Gate Inn, organised by the High Sheriff of Lancashire, Dennis G Mendoros and his wife.
Invited guests included the Lord Lieutenant of Lancashire, Lord Shuttleworth; the Chief Constable, Steve Finnigan; Chief Fire Officer, Peter Holland; other business representatives across Lancashire as well as the Mayors of Lancashire and most of the former High Sheriffs.
Guests were entertained by the band, Undercover and singer Ashleigh Wood at the event intended to promote the new High Sheriff’s Initiative, ‘EmpowerMent’ aimed at improving the quality of life of young people by increasing attainment levels and promotingcareer development.Photography by Sara Cuff
