Kirdford residents rose to the Royal occasion in true style
Kirdford residents rose to the Royal occasion in true style. Local resident Louise Ketteridge rallied a team of volunteers to stage a day full of events for all the family. From face painting and cupcake decorating, to candy floss and hog roast, with the Royal day’s events showing on the big screen. The children competed in a treasure hunt, as well as a fancy dress contest. The grown-ups were challenged to the Great Kirdford Bake Off contest! Dolly Saunders was the creative director in charge of the team responsible for dressing up the village hall with swags of fresh flowers woven with fairy lights, and an abundance of bunting – it all looked quite magical.
