The much anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens this week and for those eagle eyed amongst you, there may be a few familiar sights.
In July 2014, a visual effects team shot some background scenes in the Lake District for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens film, to which CGI was later added to.
Local landscape photographer Colin Bell has identified a few iconic landmarks in the Star Wars trailer that features an action scene involving X Wing Fighters.
Some of the Lake District locations include Derwentwater, Blencathra, Catbells and Thirlmere.
