ELEVEN ladies who have been receiving treatment for breast cancer at the Marina Dalglish centre at Aintree University Hospital strutted their stuff on the catwalk to raise funds towards the building of the new radiotherapy centre adjacent to The Walton Centre. Family and friends of the girls packed the Hilton Liverpool for what was a joyous but emotional evening. The girls modelled Womanzone fashions, specialists in post mastectomy swimwear and lingerie, as well as the latest looks from John Lewis. Staff from Andrew Collinge assisted with hair and Clarins provided the make-up. More than 8,000 was raised on the evening which will help bring treatment much closer to patients.
