Naylors Equestrian opens brand new superstore in North of England
The 10,000 sq ft Naylors Equestrian store offers equestrian & country enthusiasts a unique shopping environment.
The 30th June 2012 saw the opening of the brand new Naylors Equestrian store in Rochdale, Lancashire. The 10,000 sq ft store offers equestrian & country enthusiasts a unique shopping environment. A visit is highly recommended.
Although established in 1965 in a former Co-operative shop, Naylors Equestrian was taken under new management in 2007. The dream was not only to revive a once solid reputation but also to expand into online retail and maybe one day open a new, larger store.
After five years of hard work and commitment from the family management team, that dream is now a reality.
The new store is based just one mile from the old shop and only three miles from Junction 20 of the M62 making it easily accessible for those travelling a distance.

The wow factor hits you the second you set eyes on the store, outside boasts a large car park with 50 spaces and the signature ‘Naylors Yellow’ signage welcomes you. Upon entering the store you begin to realize the time and attention to detail that has gone into putting this retail experience together.
The inside is designed to give the store a ‘barn feel’, and looking down to the far end a large mural creates a view to a field through open barn doors. This stylish interior continues throughout.
To the left is the equestrian and country clothing section where you can browse at leisure through rails of popular brands such as Dubarry, Joules, Jack Murphy and many more. Straight ahead is the footwear section showcasing a range of riding and country boots from Hunter to Dubarry and Ariat to Dublin – there is also a drinks station where tea & coffee is complimentary and seating is provided so that you can take a break watching Sky TV or reading a magazine.
For equestrians, hat and body protector fitting is offered by members of staff who are BETA approved. Again, there is a large selection of quality hats and body protectors to suit all needs.
If it is your horse that you want to treat then head to the right hand side, (everything is clearly signposted) here you will find the extensive rug and saddles section as well as a massive range of horse accessories, healthcare products and much more. You can even buy feed and bedding and yard and arena equipment from buckets and shovels to jumps and wheelbarrows.
If by some small chance you are struggling to find what you are after then there is always a helpful team member nearby who will be happy to assist you and we all know what a difference a smile and some useful advice can make to your day.
