- Park Farm Hotel, Hethersett

Exciting times at the Colney Suite as the hotel is currently undergoing an extensive makeover. Renovations should be finished in March, with a more neutral colour scheme and country house theme which is likely to prove popular with couples planning to tie the knot from spring.

- Hales Hall and The Great Barn, Loddon A medieval treasure, Hales Hall and Great Barn is a majestic venue surrounded by lavender-filled gardens and topiary hedges and meadows, fields and woodland. If you're looking at a big day with up to 300 guests to entertain this could be your venue, but it is also set up for more intimate affairs. - Glen Lodge, Bawburgh

The new Glen Lodge wedding venue opened in April last year, with a beautiful veranda decking area overlooking the golf course and the Yare Valley with stunning oak interior and ample space for your wedding ceremony, breakfast and reception - all in one room if you wish. The spacious rooms, with impressive wooden beams, a brick feature wall and wooden floors, create a visual blank canvas for your wedding, with endless possibilities to dress in your desired colours and decorations and can take up to 180 guests.

- Titchwell Manor, Titchwell

If you've set your hearts on a dream wedding in north Norfolk then Titchwell Manor must be on your list. This boutique 26-room hotel faces the gorgeous coastline, has a contemporary feel with beautiful styling and gardens and has earned a reputation as a must-visit place to eat, so your guests will be very well fed!

- Mannington Hall, Aylsham

Looking for an historical twist to your venue? How about the grounds of a hall built in 1460? Mannington Gardens has room for large marquees on the lawns opposite the hall and tearoom. For smaller parties use of the tearoom and alternative sites for small marquees/party tents can be arranged.

- Hautbois Hall, Little Hautbois

Another historic venue, Hautbois Hall offers several different places to hold your wedding ceremony including inside the barn, in the grounds overlooking the River Bure or on the tennis court lawn. Another option is a twilight ceremony, with a service at 7pm and the entertainment following straight on without many of the traditional formalities.

- Stower Grange, Norwich

Handsome Stower Grange Hotel, a 17th century former rectory, is set in two acres of pretty wooded grounds. The picturesque front of the house and magnificent mature trees make an ideal backdrop for photographs and the venue can take up to 100 guests for a wedding breakfast in either one of two special rooms.

Built in 1864, The Barn is full of traditional features and character and can be decorated any way you wish. The courtyard beside the barn and the landscaped reception gardens make both a lovely backdrop for wedding pictures and a really attractive setting for the drinks reception, a venue that makes the most of Norfolk's big skies and beautiful countryside.

This is a venue with a very different feel, offering eco-friendly, pet-friendly, family-friendly weddings in 70 acres of wildflower meadows and ancient woodlands. In the meadow you have a choice of temporary marquees for the wedding reception, from giant tipi hats to a vintage marquee, and from boho to bunting.

There has been a mill across the River Tas at Stoke Holy Cross for seven centuries, so if you're looking for a venue with character this could be just the ticket. The handsome restaurant has recently undergone major refurbishment to create a beautiful space for your guests and there are some lovely spaces outside to enjoy as well.
