It was followed by a stirring Beating Retreat on the South Lawn by the Band of the Adjutant General's Corps, and dinner in the Baron's Hall.Proposing the toast to the TA past, present and future, the Lord Lieutenant, Allan Willett, told the guests, including a number of the county's major employers: "The centenary gives us all the opportunity to thank all those who serve in - or support - our Volunteer Reserve Forces and Cadets."He added: "The enthusiasm and commitment of our very special sons and daughters of Kent deserve the full support of the public."
