Pentillie Castle, St Mellion, Cornwall, Announces Garden Open Days for 2012

Pentillie Castle has announced its 2012 programme of garden open days, tours and Repton study day.

Garden Tours

Between 6th March and 3rd July 2012 Pentillie is offering a series of organised guided tours around the gardens of the estate. These will take place on the 1st Tuesday of every month (apart from June). Numbers will be limited to 50 and anyone is welcome – individuals, couples, groups of friends or more organised groups. Booking is essential.

Dates for your diary 6th March, 3rd April, 1st May, 12th June and 3rd July

Time: 2pm – 530pm

Entry: �12.50pp, Inc garden tour and afternoon tea.

Garden Open Days

Pentillie’s gardens will be open to the public on Sunday 25th March and Sunday 15th April 2012. Sadly no dogs are allowed. Refreshments are available in the Castle.

No booking is required

Entry is �6 per person (children under 12 free)

Gardens open from 11am to 4pm

Repton on the Tamar

29th March 2012

After a successful first study day in May 2012, renowned landscape historian Keir Davidson returns to Pentillie on 29th March 2012 to present another insightful day on landscape designer, Humphrey Repton. Discover more about Repton’s work in the Tamar Valley.
