MORE than �5,500 was raised in aid of Prostate Cancer Research at a Grand Charity Ball at the Wyreside Banqueting Suite in Garstang.
Guests, including the Mayor and Mayoress of Wyre Borough enjoyed a champagne reception with entertainment from a jazz band as well as vocalist Josh Adams and an exciting auction compered by Master of Ceremonies Clive Cope.
The ball was organised by Peter Pemberton from Goosnargh who started ‘The Prostate Cancer Research Campaign’ to raise awareness of the disease among men as well as raise funds for research.PHOTOGRAPHY BY GLYN WARD
