A new five-star resort in Carbis Bay, near St Ives is seeing a rise in demand



A new five-star resort in Carbis Bay, near St Ives, has seen a recent boom in sales.

More than 43 homes have now been reserved at Una St Ives, a cluster of stylish new holiday homes. The properties, which have been available to buy off plan, are being built across three phases. Phase one, which comprises of 29 homes, is nearing completion which means that work on phase two’s 42 properties is about to launch ahead of schedule.

Truro-based development company CC Leisure Concepts is behind Una St Ives, which has properties to purchase and rent, along with multi-million pound real-estate fund manager, Frogmore, which is investing more than £16 million into the 20-acre 122-property scheme.



At the heart of the resort, which is due to open its doors in spring 2015, property owners and guests will find everything they need; a restaurant, a deli selling the finest local produce, a spa featuring 100% organic Cornwall-made products and an inviting 15m infinity pool with extensive leisure facilities. Una St Ives’ ethos is about combining the freedom of self-catering with the standards and service of a destination hotel.

Andrew Clark, Managing Director, CC Leisure Concepts, said: “Due to the huge interest in selling properties at Una St Ives, which is one of the biggest developments of its kind in the UK, we have now launched phase two, with 15 of the plots already reserved and construction work due to commence at the end of the summer. We expect to launch phase three, which will comprise the final 51 properties in the development, in early 2015 but if sales continue to be buoyant these timings can be brought forward.”

Andrew added: 'We’ll shortly be commencing a local recruitment drive with a view to ensuring an experienced hospitality team are in place and trained before next year’s opening date.'
