The Sussex Heritage Trust celebrated the best in Sussex at their annual awards ceremony at the Ravenswood, Sharpthorne.Winners received their awards from Trust president Lord Egremont. The Sussex Heritage Trust Person of the Year was Trevor Nash for his work on the Rudgwick Biodiversity Project.Mr Nash hit on the idea that a group could be formed, with the Parish Council’s agreement as owners of the land, to open up, conserve and manage the linear woodland and stream; improving public access, establishing educational activities and working with the local community groups.
There will be more on award winners through the year in Sussex Life. For the list of winners go to sussex.greatbritishlife.co.uk
Also if you were at the Sussex Hertiage Awards 2010 then we would very much like you to add your photos of the day to this page.
