It’s behind you

Christmas isn’t Christmas without the whole family seeing a panto. It’s Sleeping Beauty this year at the King’s Theatre in Southsea, which is playing until January 5th. There’s a talented line up of stars including Danniella Westbrook, best known as Samantha Mitchell in Eastenders, who will play Fairy Sparkle. Then there’s Christopher Maloney, 2012 Xfactor finalist, who will sweep Sleeping Beauty off her feet as the Prince. Returning to the Kings is Lynne McGranger, Australian ‘Home and Away’ soap star to play the villain everyone loves to hate, wicked fairy godmother Carabosse. Tickets start from £10 from the box office on 02392 828282 or online at
