‘Devon families vote for favourite attractions in Primary Times Star Awards 2015.’

Children and their families have voted Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park their favourite place to visit in Devon this year!

Primary Times magazine distributes to 90% of Devon primary schools and asked its readers to vote for their favourite family attractions across the county.

Revealing important indicators about the visiting trends and attraction values of families in Devon, Crealy also scooped the award for ‘Best Family Attraction’ and ‘Outdoor Play/Activity Centre’. On a rainy day, readers recommended Sam’s Fun House in Exmouth as best ‘Indoor Play/Activity Centre’.

If the family fancies some art or cultural history, China Blue is the favourite ‘Craft Activity Place’ and National Trust’s Killerton was voted the best ‘Stately Home/Historic Attraction’.

The Clip and Climb on Exeter Quay is the family favourite for ‘Sports Venue or Provider’, a new category for 2015 showing where Devon families like to get active.

If someone in the family has a birthday coming up then Sam’s Fun House tops the tables for best ‘Party Venue/Entertainer’, followed by Devon’s Crealy and Bear Feet.

The Primary Times Reader’s ‘Best event attended this Year’ was Exmouth Festival in May, followed by festive activities Christmas Nativity at Pennywell and Easter at Devon’s Crealy.

Linda Edwards at Primary Times Devon sees the results as “a glimpse into what is going through the minds of local families” and hopes attractions will develop and evolve to be even more successful next year.
