Lana de Savary was today joined by her husband Peter de Savary, international entrepreneurial businessman and property expert, at the Cary Arms’ ground-breaking unveiling of the £1.5 million expansion plans for nine new seafront Beach Huts and Riviera Villas and luxury spa.

Snugly located on the beautifully sheltered Babbcombe Bay, benefitting from outstanding views and scenery, and already known for its boutique style charm and comfort, the Cary Arms have announced extensive expansion plans for their Inn on the Beach.

With completion set for the summer of May 2016, visitors can expect the arrival of six very chic boutique Beach Huts and three Riviera Villas on the water’s edge, complete with terraces, wet bars, stunning views across Lyme Bay and all finished off in a fresh and stylish New England décor.

And that’s not all, with the further addition of the new Cary Spa, consisting of an opening glass-fronted pool and sunbathing deck with beautiful views of the sea and its unspoilt coastline. Also find treatment rooms, experience shower, mood lighting, aromatherapy jets, sauna, steam and mini gym, all making for what promises to be a very luxurious stay at the Cary Arms.

Lana de Savary says: “I am delighted to announce these exciting plans for the Cary Arms which is such a special and happy place, full of fun and romance. It will reaffirm the property as one of England’s most special and luxurious seaside Inns. We are so fortunate to be in one of the most beautiful spots on the Devon Riviera Coastline. Our new Beach Huts and Riviera Villas will give our guests unrivalled pleasure and an experience not found elsewhere. The new Cary Spa, whilst boutique, will be as it should be, “just a pleasure and a joy”! We look forward to warmly welcoming our guests, in our inimitable way, to another new experience next summer.”

The Inn will remain open as usual whilst the development work takes place.
